Finishing up this last minute packing....heading down to Georgia for the 4th of July weekend to celebrate my Family's Huge Reunion. I'm trying to figure out what I should be squeezing into these two suitcases of mines. I hate packing for trips...
I guess I got all the necessities. But I'm willing to bet money I'm leaving something behind....
If your from B'more....Vote for the Shop:Gentei designed Mountain Dew Can!!!
In association with Mountain Dew/Green Label Art, this competition's winning can design will see a national destribution. So support B'More's own. It wasn't a hard choice for me...the subtle black based can with hints of purple/aqua adorned with bike chains that have become Shop Gentei's persona....is truly a dope concept.
So what are you waiting for? Cast your VOTE now!!!
Oh yes, it is indeed Summer Time. And with that comes the heat, this year it's been a lil' un-seasonally hot. So what better way to embrace the heat than a trip down B'More's world famous Inner Harbor.
Myself & Shnookie K were up to the task...
Btw...The Disney owned Espn Zone closed down it's Baltimore operation (along with about 5 more in major cities), right before Summer started. Whose bright ass idea was that? Wouldn't it have made more sense to wait until Winter. smh...
I finally picked up my pair of 2010 released Nike Foamposite Ones in the Eggplant colorway...for a hella' discount price. The thing you can't help but notice about these is the "blue" translucent soles, a first for Foam drops.
Figured I do some comparison pics of my DS 2010 Eggplant Foams & my once worn 2009 Eggplant Foams. Blue translucent sole vs Icy translucent sole. The 2010s fainter grooves vs. the 2009 more distinct grooves...
Deadstock no more. I'ma get some good "break in" time off of these...
Today marked the homegoing of Ms. Ada Fitzgerald. She leaves to celebrate/cherish her life a loving family & an host of friends. She fought the good fight, She has finished the race. Now only heaven awaits...
Rest In Peace "Grandmother" ...You will be missed but you will never be forgotten.
I just got back from sunny Los Angelos. I find myself trying to regroup from a serious hangover due to an heavy dose of partying with Kobe, Ron Ron, Lamar & Adam Morrison. (He might not get much playing time, but Mr. Gonzaga sure know's how to down some shots.) Anyways, as you all know by now, BIG PROPS goes out to the 2010 NBA Champion Los Angelos Lakers and their back to back title run after succesfully defeating the Boston Celtics in a classic 7 game war.
Stay tuned for more coverage and my in depth analysis on the next Low Down.
It's J-Cole...the first signee off Jay-Z's new Roc-Nation label. But you might still be asking yourself "Who dat?" Since Hov has the uncanny habit of signing skilled young artist but NOT pushing them worth a damn. Look's like that trend is continuing with J-Cole even thou the Raleigh native looks bent on making a name for himself regardless. I mean...how much work would it take to blow this kid up if you were Jay-Z? Just take the kid where ever you go. Period. But naw....Jay's probably too busy deciding what single off the Blueprint 3 he should shoot his next video for. And it WON'T be "A Star Is Born", the track J-Cole is featured on. smh...
I've been away for awhile, my apologies. I've been so busy taking care of B.I. But since I've come across a little bit of freetime, why not share some of my favorite fits. And two of my favorite kicks, SpaceJam 11s and White/Black Jordan 13s.
