October 1st has come. The Maryland Legislature aka Team Fine That Ass & Make As Much Money Necessary, By Any Means Necessary...has initiated it's
Hands Free Campaign. Basically what their saying is, if you get caught talking on your cellphone while drivng a vehicle WITHOUT A BLUE-TOOTH, that ass is grass. Your 1st offense may only cost you $40 but it comes with a point on your license. All occurances after that will cost you $100 & further points. The goal of the Maryland Legislature is to increase safety on the streets & roads, but the end result is some Bigwig's pockets being lined.
I mean damn, Ain't the red light & speed cameras enough?! I guess there's some secret project that needs funding or some bridge that needs building. smdh...
So with all that being said, Blue-Tooth on deck!
