Bear Witness...

Ever since the day he was drafted #1 straight out of high school by his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers, I've been hearing about how Lebron James is The Chosen One. He was ordained the best to ever do it by the media before he even scored his first basket in the NBA. And for the past couple years, I've been ordered to Bear Witness. Nuff' said. Just sit back & Bear Witness to the greatness of King James, powder smacking & all.

But what have we really beared witness to?

In 2009, Lebron led the Cavs to 66 regular season wins & the best record in the NBA which means home court thru out. But Cleveland couldn't even make it to the NBA Finals losing to the Orlando Magic in Game 6 of the Eastern conference Finals. And to top off that upset defeat, The Chosen One chose not to shake hands with the team that defeated him & further showed poor sportsmanship by not even addressing the media.

Then just days ago, King James & his league leading 61 regular season win having Cleveland Cavaliers got bounced out of the playoffs again. This time in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference QuarterFinals to the Boston Celtics. At least he stayed around to congratulate the better team this time.

Did I mention the media proclaimed Chosen One won MVP the past 2 seasons? Most valuable player both years, but not one visit to the NBA Finals even thou your team had home court advantage thru out?

I ask again, So what have we really beared witness to? A 25 year old phenom that has won 2 league MVPs, several scoring titles, 2 NBA All Star Game MVPs, and a bunch of 1st team all NBA awards. Nice individual accolades fa'sho but what has Lebron really won? Nothing. His only trip to the NBA Finals to date & he was swept in
4 games by the San Antonio Spurs. Since then his resume details one dissapointing season after the next, full of suprisingly early playoff exits.

And lastly to make matters worse, as he walked off that court in Boston stripping off his jersey, the city of Cleveland still has no clue if they've witness him in a Cavs uniform for the last time.

Yes, we all are bearing witness. Lmao
