My mother once told me that life was about choices and consequences. That fate and destiny would be sure to play their part, but at some juncture you would have to choose. And then she leaned in and whispered, "But sometimes, you have to decide not to make any decisions." (I love her. Yeah, she's a thorn in my azz sometimes, but I LOVE her.)
